The Book Fresk<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Created in 2023, the Book Fresk is an interactive workshop, led by a certified facilitator<\/a>, combining a card game and group discussions to understand the environmental issues across the book chain and discover ways to act for a more sustainable industry. The workshop is based on the latest sector data and welcomes publishing and book industry professionals, students, readers, and professionals from other fields.

Since 2025, the Book Fresk has been available in English, featuring a full set of translated cards and facilitators trained to lead the workshops in English.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Pourquoi une fresque internationale ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Les enjeux de la crise climatique \u00e9tant mondiaux, il est essentiel de d\u00e9ployer la Fresque du Livre \u00e0 l\u2019international. La cha\u00eene du livre \u00e9tant par essence internationale, les r\u00e9flexions et les actions men\u00e9es doivent s\u2019inscrire \u00e0 cette \u00e9chelle. Ce d\u00e9ploiement permet de sensibiliser un plus grand nombre de secteurs et de pays, et de mobiliser collectivement les acteurs du livre pour construire une cha\u00eene du livre plus durable \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle mondiale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the climate crisis is global, it is essential to deploy the Book Fresk internationally. Since the book supply chain is inherently international, reflections and actions must be carried out on a global scale. This international deployment makes it possible to raise awareness across more sectors and countries, and to collectively mobilize book industry professionnals to build a more sustainable global book supply chain.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

  • La Fresque en anglais a pour projet de s’exporter en Inde, elle y est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e pour la premi\u00e8re fois lors de la foire de New Delhi en janvier 2026 ! <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Des discussions sont en cours avec des structures polonaises pour adapter et traduire pour la Pologne ! <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • La Fresque est actuellement en train d’\u00eatre traduite et adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 la chaine du livre allemande et sera disponible dans cette version d’ici l’automne 2026 !<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Comment adapter la fresque \u00e0 un nouveau pays ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Les cartes de la Fresque du Livre ont \u00e9t\u00e9 traduites en anglais pour permettre \u00e0 un public plus large de se les approprier. Cependant, les chiffres, exemples et enjeux pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s restent bas\u00e9s sur le contexte fran\u00e7ais. Pour en tirer le maximum, il est n\u00e9cessaire d\u2019adapter les donn\u00e9es \u00e0 chaque pays. Si vous souhaitez collaborer avec nous pour adapter \u00e0 un pays sp\u00e9cifique, nous serions ravis de devenir partenaires ! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Book Fresk cards have been translated into English to make them accessible to a wider audience. However, the data, examples, and issues presented are still based on the French book industry. To make the most of the workshop, the data should be adapted to each country.
